Ogilvy UK has promoted Imogen Coles to UK influence lead following her return from maternity leave in September 2022. As an industry-leading influence specialist, Imogen will lead the UK’s largest and most awarded influence team, reporting into Ogilvy PR UK MD Nicola Dodd.
Imogen joined Ogilvy four years ago and was instrumental in building Ogilvy’s influence offer, working with Rahul Titus, who was recently promoted to global head of influence. Before joining Ogilvy, she led the Dove team within Unilever’s U-Studio and throughout the last 11 years has led work for brands including Bacardi, TK Maxx and TRESemme.
A creator herself, Imogen will continue to build Ogilvy’s Inclusive Influence commitments, including measures to discourage body distortion and reduction of the influencer pay gap.
2022 was an unprecedented year of growth for influence and saw Ogilvy launch the industry’s first B2B Influence offer, as well as being the most awarded agency at the Influencer Marketing Awards for the fourth year in a row.
“Our UK Influence team has gone from strength to strength both in terms of client growth and industry impact, and we are very excited to see where Imogen’s leadership takes us. With invaluable expertise on both sides of the Influencer industry, she will help us deliver successful strategies, campaigns and results for our clients, as well as driving positive change across the industry more broadly.” Nicola Dodd, UK managing director, Ogilvy PR.
“We believe that real impact comes from real people, and through a refined focus on the creators that fuel our industry the Ogilvy UK team will continue to lead the way in industry best practice. Ogilvy’s body distortion and Influencer pay gap policies are just the beginning and I’m excited to see the positive impact we can deliver for our clients, and society as a whole in 2023.” Imogen Coles, UK influence lead, Ogilvy PR.view more - Hires, Wins & BusinessOgilvy UK, Wed, 01 Feb 2023 10:57:11 GMT
