'Unwelcome Guest' is a thirty-second film from Pfizer created by VMLY&R, featuring Martha Stewart to promote getting the new COVID-19 booster shot.

Directed by Martin Werner through RESET, the spot begins with America’s most recognisable hostess menacingly sharpening an imposing Samurai sword and posing the question “You know that unwelcome guest everybody wishes would just leave already? That’s COVID-19.”

She then goes on to talk about how she got the latest COVID-19 booster shot. The spot climaxes with her placing a pineapple on her counter top and swinging the sword Kill Bill style to slice the fruit- doing to the pineapple what so many of us want to do to COVID. The spot concludes with Martha posing to camera showing off a blue band-aid from her booster shot and the tagline “Got Boster?”, an homage to the classic “Got Milk?” Campaign.
