Independent agency Marcus Thomas has hired executive creative director Mark Moll to further propel the agency’s creativity. A strategically sound thinker and self-professed enthusiastic optimist, Moll most recently was freelancing for a myriad of agencies and brands.
“Mark’s pedigree coupled with his human approach to marketing made him the ideal fit for clients like Dexcom as part of our Health & Wellness practice at the agency,” said agency partner and chief creative officer Jamie Venorsky. “Our business is built on the Value Exchange that exists between brands and consumers and Mark understands how to talk to human beings and make them brand fans. His addition to our bench is sure to help us continue to overdeliver for marketers and drive results through creativity.”
Mark, a writer, said being kind to others is how he approaches every day and that his work and that of his teams is better because of it. “It’s all about people. The ones you create ideas with and the ones that see your idea in the world. Human beings talking to human beings,” said Mark.
Mark’s work has been honoured at Cannes, Clios, D&AD, One Show, Effies, Communications Arts, ADDY’s, among others. He has also been a Miami Ad School and Chicago Portfolio School professor.
“Marcus Thomas has been operating under the radar but there’s so much under their hood and I’m excited to help the agency with humble midwestern roots gain the fame they deserve,” said Mark. “Last year was a banner year for the largest independent, mid-sized agency more people need to know about. I’m thrilled for what’s to come.”
Clients of Marcus Thomas’ Health and Wellness practice include Dexcom, Akron Children’s Hospital, Lifebanc, FirstLight Home Care, and Wahoo Fitness.
