Marco Milesi, CEO of Grey Latin America and Grey Mexico, has announced the appointment of Luis Gaitán to Mexico president and chief creative officer. He also confirmed that the executive will be working alongside Coral Arnedo, general business director, and him, for the development of the agency.
"Grey Mexico is starting a new stage, and the arrival of Luis is another sign that creativity is the heart of Grey and his engine of growth,” Marco commented. "I am convinced that both Luis and Coral are the right people to solve the communication challenges of our clients and that they have the professionalism to solve the needs of brands in today's world" he concluded.
Luis Gaitán was recognised in 2019 as the most admired marketing professional in Mexico by the Agency Scope study, being also the only executive to have led the creativity of two large technology companies such as Google and Uber in Latin America.
Becoming a reference in the industry, both in Mexico and in the region, he was president of the Creative Circle and has a proven experience in the management of large creative and multidisciplinary teams, always oriented to business and with a strong strategic thinking with focus in innovation and technology.
Luis said: “The field to generate great ideas is more open than ever. This is how I lived it by leading creativity in two of the largest technology companies in the world. Grey's proposal is a very rewarding challenge, and considering the goal of taking the agency to great positions along with Coral and a team so hungry to shine is delighted. All the focus will be on doing a great job that makes our clients' brands famous, that builds culture and distinguishes Grey's creative pedigree.”
Coral added: “Personally I feel very happy with the arrival of Luis. We believe that it will bring a renewed air to the agency's proposal and together we will lead Grey to position itself as a very strategic agency, with very satisfied clients and generating great creative ideas.”
