This week sees the launch of a ground-breaking project created by BBDO Dublin on behalf of the Road Safety Authority.
The RSA Learning Portal is now available to primary and secondary schools across Ireland, to teach road safety to kids.
It's Ireland’s first branded metaverse and the world’s first metaverse for road safety education.
Already an immersive success story
Irish schools will be invited to sign up for virtual sessions at RSALearningPortal.ie where they will experience an expansive and rich 3D world where kids can immerse themselves in fun and engaging metaverse environments, designed to teach them valuable behavioural life-changing lessons.
It is accessible via multiple platforms including desktop browser, tablet, and mobile, and students who are feeling a little more adventurous, can visit using a virtual reality headset, for a truly immersive, 3D road safety experience
Already proving extremely popular with students, it has allowed RSA to reach more schools than ever before and as a result, is currently booked out until the end of the year.
BBDO's legacy of creativity and innovation
Neal Davies, chief executive, comments: “Not only are we proud of our decade-plus contribution to road safety in Ireland—a contribution which now finds a fitting legacy in this ongoing learning commitment—but we are also proud of our ability to tackle our clients’ challenges in a whole host of different environments and media.”
“For an agency with an unparalleled creative heritage, this metaverse learning hub is evidence of the new agendas we continue to set for our industry, and, hot on the heels of our ground-breaking VR experiences, is a continuation of BBDO Dublin's ongoing innovation agenda,” added Shane O’Brien, executive creative director.
