FLIPT has welcomed Gilad and Stav, a directing, editing and sound design team who make up the directing duo, Bonamaze.

Bonamaze arrive at FLIPT/side, the division of FLIPT for image makers that work across different platforms on the back of their recent project’s success, “NYC! Sound (back) On”. NYC just won the People’s Choice award at the Webby’s, the One Club ADC Award and best use of sound and music at Berlin Commercial.

Celebrating New York’s reopening “NYC! Sound (back) On” is an audio-visual homage to one of the greatest cities in the world. 900+ sounds sampled, 6 days of shooting, countless days of editing capturing the heartbeat of the Big Apple like never before.

Prior to “NYC” the team created a short film with legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk using sounds created by the skateboard is itself. The music was made up original sounds recorded entirely on set from Hawk, Loy, and Johnson’s skateboarding.

Next up filming with 5 x Grammy award winner Jon Batiste and the new season of Men’s basketball capturing all the hits of New Orleans culture, from the music to the food to the nightlife.

Trent Simpson, co-founder of FLIPT says: “These guys compose music from everyday sounds that the universe produces, sounds we probably wouldn’t normally notice, and then create films that capture something unique.”

Most recently they have been working on a project for Breitling, 'The Sound of Time', and for a Rail Network, “The Sound of Travel”. Watch this space for more noise.
