David Guerrero to Host Masterclass at Spikes Asia 2022 on How to Get Good Ideas

Creative chairman at BBDO Guerrero, David Guerrero has been invited to host a Masterclass at Spikes Asia 2022 on how to sift through the cr*p to get good ideas. 

The Masterclass, appropriately named ‘You have to go through a lot of c*ap to get a good idea’, will take place on Tuesday, 1st March 2022, 02.05 PM - 02.30OM Singapore time. Register for your free seat to watch the Masterclass here.

To give some more context for this creative and thought-provoking session, our brains love patterns. And predictability is a plus in most things - except ideas.

We need to work through a number of not-so-good ideas before we get to good ones.

This masterclass looks at ways to get beyond the easy, the obvious and the done-before.

It will look at examples from world-leading scientists, musicians and authors. And draw on some of the latest thinking on health, wellness and diversity, in all its forms. Providing key take-aways on how to sift through the nonsensical ideas and get to the mind blowing, earth stopping, creative ones.

Ultimately, the session takes comfort from Sturgeon’s Law, which states that “90% of everything is crap,” and by looking at ways to get to the 10% which isn’t, that will be the great learning opportunity for viewers.

David Guerrero will also be President of the Outdoor and Direct Spikes Asia Jury. And is releasing his new book, “You have to go through a lot of cr*p to get to a good idea” which will be published by Milflores Publishing later this year in April.
