What makes us feel whole? How is life orchestrated? And who does the conducting? I am older, but am I wiser?

Bianca Poletti’s newest short film follows the thoughts of a youthful heroine which is moved by fundamental questions circulating around having sex for the first time. In the most sensitive, beautiful way the film draws the audience into the intense perception of her emotional world with her thoughts spinning around love, sex and the affections of her body.

"Have you done it yet?“ is the recurring question of her friends which is echoing in her mind. Here is where fear of the unknown and euphoria collide, expressed in poetic phrases like this: "My flesh is made of questions and if I touch someone will i feel answers?“

Bianca Poletti created a heartfelt coming-of-age-story that visualises a girl’s way of finding her own voice while struggling with the pressures from her peers of growing up too fast.
