We are on the hunt for a passionate Junior Editor to join our team at Pavilion Works.

You will be joining the core in-house team, working across hero commercials, social content, music, and in-house projects. Our work environment is fast, creative, and always striving to expand on briefs and explore new ideas.

Pavilion Works started in 2017, and since then we have amassed an array of clients across ad agencies, fashion, direct to brands, and music labels. Whether a 15-minute documentary or a 6-second social film, producing high-quality content is at the core of what we do.

Post-production is an integral part of the company and has an expanding team with big ambitions. We’ve recently finished building our first client-facing edit and grade suites to host more sit-in sessions for our clients and collaborators.

This position requires you to work from the office that is based in Bermondsey, London.

REQUIREMENTS

​Our ideal candidate has a keen sense of storytelling, an eye for style, and loves to get playful when the project is right. You are an editor through and through, able to work across linear narratives to more creative forms of filmmaking and social content. You will be an excellent collaborator and eager to learn and develop on the job. Our team is small and relies on people being multi-skilled, especially in post-production.

What we’d like to see:

* 3+ years in the industry (employed or freelance)
* Strong skills in editing social and content-focused films.
* Self-motivated and able to take initiative
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a team as well as autonomously
* Can collaborate with directors/producers and contribute new ideas

ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:

*A strong crafter of engaging narratives.
*At home editing a variety of content including commercials, brand videos, music promos, corporate videos & documentaries.
*Online editing.
*Always pushing to develop editing skills and learn new techniques and software.
*Able to work well under pressure and in tight turnaround projects.
*Able to handle different delivery specs for social, online, and broadcast.
*Basic sound mixing.
*Motion graphics skills.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

*A high-level Premiere Pro user is an absolute must.
*Confident understanding of workflow and organisational skills.
*Strong understanding of creating work for TikTok and other social media platforms.
*Experience with online editing.
*Comfortable with After Effects CC a plus.
*Basic knowledge of DaVinci and motion graphics.
*An eye for design.
*Happy to work on corporate branded content along with more creatively demanding projects.
*Good working knowledge of the Adobe suite.
